This Months Member of the Month is Scott Harmer
What brought you to Gain Fitness?
One morning I woke up and it occurred to me that I couldn’t see my own feet and I realised that I had to shed a few pounds. Some sort of exercise was my only option. I had never attended a fitness institution but after a quick google, CrossFit seemed the ideal answer.
What do you enjoy the most about Gain Fitness?
I enjoy seeing the gains I have made personally and also seeing other people reach their goals and enjoying the experience with everyone involved.
What is your favourite movement?
I enjoy anything to do with throwing weights about and the odd burpee.
What is your least favourite movement?
Double unders!!! Who needs em?? They are the most painful things to achieve.
What is your biggest achievement so far?
Achieving kipping pull ups, and toes to bar thanks to little Tom!
What are your future goals?
Achieving bar and ring muscle ups! And them pesky double unders!!
What advice would you give a newbie?
Listen to the coaches and don’t give up because everything gets easier!!
