What brought you to Gain Fitness?
Initially it was just to try something new as I was losing interest in my bodybuilding/kickboxing split. My friend who had previously just started CrossFit said how much he loved it and couldn’t get enough, so i thought I’d give it a try!

I instantly became addicted to the intensity & variety of it.

What do you enjoy the most about Gain Fitness?
Definitely the atmosphere and people, everyone is super friendly and supportive with a little bit of healthy competition among friends to win the WOD’s.

There’s always good music and energy to get you pumped with adrenaline for the workouts.

What is your favourite movement?
Any gymnastic or barbell movements… Snatch is probably my favourite. (I do love a good GHD sit up as well)

What is your least favourite movement?
The Assault bike as it is death. I have a love hate/relationship with it.

What is your biggest achievement so far?
Being able to perform muscle ups on the Gymnastic rings and bar, i couldn’t do any muscle ups before i started!

What are your future goals?
Firstly to hit a 100kg+ Snatch

Secondly to see how far I can take it with competing and possibly win some events.

What advice would you give a newbie?
Just to take your time learning the movements, listen to the coaches and be consistent on your weak areas if you want to improve.

Tell us something we don’t know about you.
I have an incredibly unhealthy coffee addiction.
